What is Coast to Coast

This is an event held every second year in the Wellington region. A day long event for quilters from all over the region and New Zealand to show and tell, shop, share, laugh and learn together. This year's event is proudly hosted by Capital Quilters.

Paper Bag Lunches

We are so lucky to have the ladies of Wellington's Russian Orthodox Church preparing our paper bag lunches. These ladies regard feeding people as a sacred trust, and I am sure we will be delighted.
Sandwich filling choices I am told will be:
  • Roast chicken, almond and tarragon
  • Ham and egg (or beef and horseradish, we can't decide, any votes?)
  • Hummus and roast vegetables.
Add a home made brownie and a piece of fruit and for $5, it's a feast fit for a queen! You can place an order for your lunch at the hatch in the Merchant's Hall first thing, or take pot luck at lunchtime.
Bon Appetit! (I wonder what that is in Russian?)

Our Merchant's Mall

I've had heaps of inquiries as to who will be in our Merchant's mall for the day. Finally we have a confirmed line up of merchants, and on the right there are links either to their websites or to whatever online information I could find.
As they give me interesting bits of information about what they will be bringing on the day, I'll post them on here.
